Sony's gonna do it up right. Call me a fan boy but I have faith in them.

Ofcourse they are going to "do it up right". They don't have choice. What they should do is fire the bums who got lazy and put in some people who actually can work efficiently during overtime.

They did hire a security company to not only find who did it but also help make sure the network is secure.

Again like I said fire them and get efficient people. They are taking way too long. I would also like to see a link with a picture of those bums 12am working, not "but but we're working really really hard".Look how long it took just to tell us our information was stolen. Instead of bending over you should really hold them accountable. It's been two weeks going on to three already with bullshit about how it's coming back in a few days. Enough is enough because it's not the first time I've seen you fanboys sucking a company so hard and it's to a point now where they think they can get away with it.

Hold them accountable by buying a 360. Smile all kidding aside, the ENTIRE network was hacked. They have to rebuild it from the ground up. I would imagine if they are able to accomplish it in a month, then they are probably working their asses off. I can't imagine what is involved in going through all of the code that makes up the network and ensuring you have closed all vulnerabilities. I agree with you, you should hold them accountable, but I'm not sure what constitutes a "reasonable" amount of time.

No, I'm a Plus Member so I have WAIT until is done to get my moneys worth, but I definitely will when it is done. Taking until the 31st or maybe even longer to rebuild a shitty network that they made international, not regional, thats great. Sony is the best. You really changed my mind about them.

Yea, and you're not explaining what you don't get. Sony creates a weak security system that got hacked along with users information, it's simple and I'm not going sit here to create excuses for that.

I am not trying to change your mind about Sony, just saying that you have no idea what it takes to make sure this doesn't happen again. Frankly, after 24 million+ accounts were taken (personal info, credit card info etc.), it shouldn't matter how long it takes. As long as its safe when its back up, and Sony attempts to smooth things over with the end user, let them take the time they need.

Go back to school and let the adults do the talking. I'm wondering what he doesn't get, whether he's a Mod or not he's a person. Not God.

Easy fellas.

I personally don't mind that it's down at the moment other than the fact we won't get out pre-order content right away.

OK you're patient and fine with what happened but I'm not. It's simple I put my information out there like many pissed off people. Instead of hiring that one hacker who could have pointed out their flaws they sued him so when this happen what do they expect?

RE: As a Playstation gamer getting this game, I'm not concerned about PSN
I'm not sure how long it should take, just thinking about it. They run a network for 77 million users. I would imagine there are alot of servers talking to each other, and programmers write a ton of code to make sure it all runs smoothly. A hacker comes in and compromises the network. Now, those programmers have to go hack through all of the code to find the vulnerability that the hacker used to gain access. Then, the have to figure out how to close it, hopefully not exposing a problem elsewhere in the code, then test it to make sure its secure. And you want them to rush when its your personal information they are trying to protect?

So obviously you don't know either. Well it's going to go on until the end of the month, hopefully sooner than that. This got bigger than I wanted it to, especially for a mini rant. I still say it's pathetic to see people take it so easyly, not in just gaming but in all aspects of life. These bastards don't care if they lost your stuff, hold them accountable and on their toes FFS.

Hey I have a question. As a Psn gamer, do I need the PSN store to be up to get the pre order code to work? Or just regular PSN?

The PSN store needs to be up.

And Smack A Ho. I'm patient. Doesn't mean I'm not mad. It was annoying having to cancel my credit card and wait for a new one. I have other things on that card that I had to switch over. My point is, what am I supposed to do as a consumer? All I can do is protect myself.
