GameStop's Badge Pursuit Sweepstakes

By now I'm sure you've all heard about the Naked City Case and Badge Pursuit Challenge pre-order exclusives GameStop’s offering, but they just released exclusive content and a chance to win $30,000 and thousands of other LA Noire prizes with the Badge Pursuit Sweepstakes. I just tried it, it took me to GI's site and I clicked a badge then it took me back to gamestops powerup rewards and i didn't know what to do after that lol.

Really? Heh, we must be missing something then. I haven't pre-ordered yet. I probably will next week or the week after.

You've got to do a little detective work... it takes you to various other sites. Look for badges or mentions of L.A. Noire. Shame this is only for US residents.

No, it has. Read the rules in my second post. You have to go to these websites and find pictures, words, etc relating to badges.

Have you been able to play it through? It appears to dead end for me, unless I'm doing something wrong.

i get what to do you have to scan throught the sights for a picture of a badge, you click on it you go to a different page with another hidden badge

I found all 4, Incase anyone is having trouble finding them heres a list.

1. GameInformer Site Scroll down to the picture on the bottom left where Phelps is holding the badge and click the badge. Next site Gamestop PowerUp Rewards.

2. Gamestop PowerUp Rewards Site Scroll down to bottom right, you will see a few icons the badge is in the middle of M rating and Team Bondi. Next Site xbox360.ign

3. xbox360.ign Site Third paragraph down, the word Badge will be highlighted. Next site Kongregate.

4. Kongregate Site You dont have to play the game, the badge is dimmed in the background in the middle of L.A. Noire and Coming May 17th. After this you will be taken back go gamestop.com to fill out the form. Hope that helps if anyone got stuck, I did with adblock and like Peach Sherbert said make sure you have it turned off.

Hi GameStopTom, since you worked at Gamestop, could you do me a favor. I want pre order the game from Gamestop, but I'm stuck with decision. I heard from R* that pre ordering from Gamestop will provide us with Badges challenge which is unlock "the dapper Button Man suit". I'd like to know what it looks like. I can't pre order until now because I need to compare with the Broderick from Amazon. But most likely I will pre order from Gamestop... man, I really want Naked City case so bad! Still, I need a picture of the dapper Button Man suit.

If I were you, I'd go for the Gamestop preorder, just because Broderick suit will most likely end up as free DLC in the future.

Yeah I just hope that R* will release the Broderick suit ASAP after the game got released. That suit is just amazing! Fancy and classic, especially its white fedora.

I did some digging and have good news! I've confirmed with Rockstar that the suit pictured here is the Dapper Button Man Suit:
