I'm not sure exactly how big Chinatown was in 1947, but it would have been inside the highlight area, where it still is today.

Oh okay, thanks Dave!

RE: Vice Desk
The original Chinatown from the late 1800s extended over 15 streets. I'm not sure either how large the area was of Chinatown in the 1930s. All I know is that it consisted of two parts (New Chinatown and China City).

I wouldn't be so quick to jump to that conclusion. Heroin and cocaine are two heavy drugs that can destroy you from hair to toe.

Statistics don't lie.

Alcohol and cigarettes are responsible for more deaths each year than any other substances in the United States. Keep in mind that the statistics include cancer or any disease that results from alcohol and tobacco abuse as well as things like drunk driving.

I think alcohol and cigs are more deadly BECAUSE their legal. If heroin and coke were legalized the stats for those would sky rocket.

RE: Vice Desk
Well there's 23 cases. That's about 4 cases per desk. Doesn't sound like a lot.

We have to see how elaborate these cases will be. I'm sure that the further we go into the game the longer it will take to solve these cases and that they will branch off at some point.

RE: Vice Desk
By branch off I mean that you can follow different leads that lead to several different suspects.

RE: Vice Desk
I don't think you can do that. There's different paths you can take based on the clues you find and questions you ask but they all lead to the guilty party.

If you arrest the wrong suspect you just go back out and find the right one.

Each case is suppose to be like one hour to an hour and a half long though right?

RE: Vice Desk
Yup. Anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.

I imagine most will clock in right at 60 though.

Check out this thread and give the article linked to in the OP a read. It covers the kind of thing you're talking about.

Perhaps I should have elaborated more. No I don't think you will have more than one option to make a final arrest. But cases can be designed in such a way that it's pretty straight forward or made more difficult that more suspects, motives, alibis and such come into place.

RE: Vice Desk
I gotcha. They will branch off in that aspect. It all depends on what clues you find and how you do in interrogations.
