You need a thick skin for homicide
I made homicide division last night and was disturbed by the graphical details on the body's, the detail, nipples and carpet below and bloody bruises and violent marks on the body's, then I adjusted my invisible tie and coughed and cleared my throat and found my thicker skin and went to work!..

I did end up looking at the games Rating system Rated M 17+ and hoped there wasn't a lot of 10 or 12 year old's playing this or had parents that kept a eye on what there kid plays and buys!..

I've watched every Friday the 13th film, amityville horror, hellraiser and Nightmare on Elm Street film and the The Exorcist and they never bothered me, so I'm no prune or however it's spelled or that saying goes!..

I listed to all genre's and own almost all category's of music except for boy/girl bands and new country!..

If you are disturbed by seeing a nipple, thank god they didn't include the real Black Dahlia corpse then Big Grin

RE: You need a thick skin for homicide
I was quite surprised at first by the nature of the way the bodies are shown. It's not unusual to see breasts in a game these days (I think they're sometimes added just to increase sales to teenaged males) but it was kind of startling at first to see the bodies with their vaginal regions fully exposed (albeit in their more 'natural' state).

The game probably sold more copies alone due to this so that fourteen year old boys could play to the homocide desk just to make jokes about the au natural look of a 1940s woman. Tongue

I'm glad in the game at least, there were no jokes or off-colour comments made by characters regarding the nature of the bodies. Everything was handled very seriously and maturely. At least the bodies weren't in the same condition of Elizabeth Short (poor woman). I could see there being a huge drama if it'd been that way in game.

Why does that bother people so much? It happens in real life to, so it adds more realism.

RE: You need a thick skin for homicide
I am into my 40's, and I was a little shocked at the level of graphic violence, and nudity. However, I quickly got to work to try to solve the case.

I thought this sort of violence that occurs every day added to the realism of the game. It made it more necessary, and enjoyable, to really try to catch the killer.
