Mission: Warrants outstanding - no fighting possible?

Hi,
in mission 3 I do always fail, because it is impossible to fight.
There is simply no reaction at all on the mouse buttons or any other buttons on the keyboard if remapped for hitting the opponent after chasing him to the top of the roof :-(
Moving is fine, but I am just getting hit and cannot do anything.
Game was also already restarted.
(The first fight in mission 1 or 2 was working fine without any issues.)

I am fine with the mission 3, I think there is some possibilities of technical problem. Please reinstall the game once. All the best...

I don't remember much of the pc version, but I do believe there's a certain button you have to hold in order to 'engage' the suspect. Are you holding that?
