Joe Nesco??? (Mild Spoilers)

I just finished the red lipstick murder & I'm seriously confused. Visiting the last location, I was aware that (according to Rockstar Social Club) I was missing 4 clues to take me to a possible 18. There was only 3 clues there so I figured I'd have to replay the case to find what I'd missed. After completing the case I got a 5 star case report & had 19 clues out of a possible 19. Where did 19 come from? I went back to the social club & it said I had 18 out of 18. No big deal I thought, but what was strange was a clue entitled 'Domestic Abuse' was on the list featuring a face of a guy I didn't recognise - a Mr Joe Nesco whom I'd apparently spoken to in a diner. I replayed the case in my head but I seriously don't remember him or the diner. Oh, & just to add to the social club's bad execution, my case tracker stats have all reset to zero. Fun times! So who is Joe Nesco & did anyone encounter him? I just looked over a couple of internet guides on this case & neither mention him. PS I swear my notebook only showed 13 clues before I found the last 3, so nothing's really adding up. I think he's my missing P.O.I as well, but if I didn't need to talk to him fair enough, but why then have him show up as a clue. Surely that clue shouldn't be there if I never found it & he shouldn't be a P.O.I if I neither spoke to him or was informed of his existence...or am I just being a nitpicking stat fiend?

I 5 star-ed it and the only people I remember talking to: crime scene people, bartender at bamba's briefly, McColl, Jacob Henry, and you arrest Alonso Mendez. Maybe I missed him too but I don't think I woulda gotten 5 on it if I had missed him as well, havent looked at my social club stats for the cases..

Hi all.

Seeing as I am unable to create a thread , I am hijacking this one a wee bit.

I would like to know if it is possible for me to have all 19 clues found and all questions correct.

I don't get the domestic abuse (Joe Nesco) clue, unless I get the 'seen with suspect' (licence plate clue) question wrong with Dick McColl in The Bamba Club.

Anyone else know if this is doable?

you find out from someone that the victim went to a diner the night she was killed, so you go to the diner and Joe Nesco works there. If you question him, you find that the victim may have been abused by her husband... I came across the diner my first playthrough...

After you talk to Nesco and go outside, there are two guys trying to rob a gas station and you have to shoot them... remember that part?

I five starred that case and I don't remember that part.

Maybe you have to screw up the initial conversation with McColl.

Yeah I 5* the case too without the Nesco clue, but got it when I went 'doubt' on the first McColl question. At the end of the case only got 4*, but I had a bit of car damage which may have killed the five stars, so it looks like I can't get all the clues unless I choose to get a question deliberately wrong. :-(

take into account how many times youve gotten a question wrong then quit and resumed to get perfect ( I do it) Well, the game expects you not to do that, so there has to be multiple scenerios/ outcomes based on your success/ failures in questioning and in what order you do/go to case objectives.

Just ran through the case again and got 5* with 19/19 clues, but had to settle for 11/12 questions correct as the Joe Nesco tip does not happen unless you choose not to get the licence plate clue from Dick McColl. Never Mind, seems to be the only one thus far that to get all the clues you have to get a question wrong.
