Can you turn off street crimes?

Leave your partner behind and you won't be contacted about street crimes. You'll have to move some distance away from him so he stays where you left him instead of catching up with you in a patrol car.

Triggering an unassigned case - or the next part of a case if you're not in Streets of L.A. mode - will bring him back immediately.

calls on the radio are easy enough to ignore but it's a bit annoying in free roam when you get too close to an already completed street crime and it triggers again.

You can run around on a patrol desk case, where there aren't any street crimes, or you can do the arson free roam where there's only 4.

Drive around in non police cars - they don't have the police radio and so you won't get the street crime messages.

Street crimes will still be triggered, I already asked the Rockstar Helpdesk if they could make an option to turn the street crimes off and an option to save the freeroam game, however the more people ask for it on their support site by requesting it in a ticket the more chance it has in actually being added

jez parkers idea should work and i think there may be an option turn off car chases, brawls, gunfights, maybe street crimes too and a couple other things, check it out insettings

I suck at questioning people, couldn't they add an option to turn questioning off? Oh yeah, looking for clues is a chore, need an option to turn that off too.

If you solve all 40 street crimes does the game still prompt you for street crime cases while you're driving around?

yes they do and they trigger automaticly no matter what car you drive and no matter where your partner is if you get close it triggers
