Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I'm a little unclear how the DLC cases work, as I'm on a PS3 and haven't been able to download my pre-order swag yet...

So are the DLC cases only accessible from the Cases menu or are they also inserted into the main game story line, thereby increasing the duration and number of cases if you were to start a new game?

I have the Slip of the Tongue case and it was inserted in the main story when I was playing the game so my gues is that it will be the same with the others, problably also goes for if they release the other desks

exactly what cyber ops said, so I suggest you DL it straight away instead of finishing and then going back to the menu and then DL'ing it

You can also play the case from the Cases menu.

My brother downloaded Naked City and played it before he got to the Vice desk.

I have the Naked City case, and it triggers automatically in the story.

If it's true that the game incorporates the DLC into the story then that's AWESOME.

It does, just like American Detection said. I have 'The Naked City' case also, and after I finished 'The Set Up', it automatically started. One of the best cases in the game, in my opinion.

Yup, all the DLC cases will/do tie in to the existing storyline, as others have said. And if The Naked City and A Slip of the Tongue are anything to go by, they feel a little different from the main story cases - in a good way.

The PS Store is still down so I can't get it but I played it on my brothers 360 and I agree, I think it is one of the best cases in the game.

I want to play Consuls Car.

Did the Mods/Admins increase the time you have to take between posts? Stupid spammers.

I really wish I could play A Slip of the Tongue. I bought 2 copies of the game but sadly we don't have a Walmart anywhere near where I live in NYC. I want it bad, but not $20-$30 Ebay price bad lol

Since Rockstar is going to release info on when this can be downloaded through the marketplace next week, I'm hoping we don't have to wait long.

Probably before the game switches up on you in the Arson desk.

If you access cases trough the main menu, are street crimes available while playing that case? When you have finished the case, does the game let you progress or are you automatically shoved back to the main menu? (cases section).

I just wondered, cause when more missions gets released as dlc, I would like to play trough all the cases with all the outfits being unlocked and so on. But I'll probably just start a new game if street crimes are unavailable. Its also kind of immersion breaking if you are right back to the main menu after completing the case.

I forgot to add that they do show up in the 'Streets of L.A.' mode in each case file, whether you've already completed them or not.
