Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Has anyone else run into this problem? I've finished A Polite Invitation case and for some reason the last arson case won't show up in the folder. I have replayed the case a few times to see if it will end up in the folder but no luck. I can't finish the game. Any Ideas?????

Maybe you have to let the credits run all the way through?

What I meant was I can't play the last case A Different Kind of War. There's no option to play it in the arson folder. It won't automatically load after the case before it.

You have to beat it before it'll show up in the folder.

Try loading up your latest save file.

No such luck. It loads Leland Monroe's Mansion. I may be sol on this one. I really don't want to start over from the very beginning again.

What happens after you beat the previous mission? Does it freeze?

It doesn't freeze it just goes back to the La Noire sign.

if ur on ps3 try deleting game data utility, hope this dont happen to me im still on the homicide cases

The exact same thing happened to me, except I can't play the last 4 cases. This sucks. Xbox 360

Hmm, strange one. The first thing that comes to mind is that the cases that remain locked haven't been completed as part of the story. Any cases started from the folders will return you to the title screen upon completion rather than progressing to the next case. Could that be the problem?

If it is, you'll need to select Resume from the main menu and load a story save rather than a replay save. A file that doesn't have '(Replay)' after the case name will be the one you want. Completing cases in non-replay saves should automatically progress you through the game.

Helo guy's first post. I was actually coming here for help on this same problem. I'm on the vice desk and after the second case (I believe it was the ''setup'') right away the ''naked city loads up. so I beat the case and after the case it would just spit me to the main menu. I tried a few times playing from the last checkpoint, still to be spit to the main menu. I even replayed the case in the hope's it would trigger the next case, no luck.

I really dont want to start over again so if anyone can be of any help That would be tit's.

Aside from that this game is facking awesome as hell and Im glad I found this place, Its really nice and the page is beautiful.

I'm having the same problem! It's as if the game is over after the case is finished. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I have all the DLC? In my "Arson" case file it list "A Polite Invitation" then "Nicholson Electroplating" and that's it. There is no "A Different Kind of War" listed. This Sucks!!

OK I AM HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM I CANT SELECT THE LAST MISSION.... it doesnt even show up? gonna try to figure it out... ill let you know

Ok i just got it to work.... what i did was hit resume....and loaded the only on that wasnt a replay file....beat that mission and the last mission now works! good luck!!

oh boy...I think I know what this is because it happened to me after naked city. By any chance are your 8 slots all filled up with replays? You know what I mean. I have a thread here in gameplay or the general discussion forum about my problem and what had to be done to fix it. Check it out. BTW I did have to start over but without losing anything that was saved (ie. still have my badges, cars, rank etc.). I didn't get up to the freeze point yet so I can't say if this works but it's what rockstar told me to do. Check out the thread.

I have not had this problem however there is not star case rating once I enter the replay case folder. I was wondering if that was because there is no star rating for this mission? (last mission in arson) please help with this asi only have one other case to complete for the trophy on ps3
