CHILDREN ( Slight Spoilers for Arson Desk)

I saw about 2-4 dead children in this game, burned and mutated and fully visible.

Now trust me, I know R* REALLY was pushing for the realism, but having burned dead children in their game too far?

I found it absolutely offensive and very unessasary. Thats my opinion. I don't hate the game for that reason, but I'm rather saying this was not a neccasary sight.

I mean, the face was fucking purple, all scarred, and way to...ugh...

Please don't lay the whole crap about how you can shoot someone in the face or what ever. These are dead children. Fully visible and in your face.

I'd imagine its offesnive for those with kids or siblings, like me.

It didn't really bother me all that much, this game was going for gritty realism and the life of a detective is not always pretty and I think this game captures that very well.

Oh shut the hell up. Seeing as you're draped head to toe with meems as old as the internet I'm not surprised by the immaturity.Not to mention the shitty options. This is what stops games from maturing and being respected in the same way as movies. I liked that they put that there. It showed grit and it evoked anger. It made you want to get the guy that did that.
After seeing that I automatically thought about the officers, soldiers, crime investogators, emt etc who have to sleep with those kinds of images in their head for the rest of their lives.

It didn't offended me at all. Why should it? It's a game. It's not like there was a cutscene that showed them suffering. Plus, the father crumbling apart and scaring Herschel was pretty funny.

The cases in this game are taken from true cases of the time. Do you complain as much when a tv show depicts murdered children. So we should be offended, as would the real life people investigating any crime against children. This does not mean that team bondi made a mistake by putting this into their game.

Perhaps you shouldnt have bought the game if things like that offend you. You knew it was a realistic detective tale I assume. And how was it "offensive"? It wasnt like they were like "Look! Look! Dead kids! Oooooooh! Hahahaha look they're dead and burned!"

They did it with a level of maturity that helped show that games are growing up and arent just for kids. Your complaints are verging on moronic. It is a game, and there was nothing "Offensive" about it. It was graphic, but that was the goal.

I personally did not find it offensive. It's rated R for a reason, and it's not because Rockstar had involvement in it. I never assumed the detective life to be that glamorous anyway, so I'm glad that they didn't cater to the faint of heart.

Honestly OP you and if you have children.

You can see a lot worse on network TV if you just flip the channel & watch a show like CSI.

Burn't animated kids I don't think really has that much of a shock value especially with the older & mature gamers.

Biggest problem though is that younger gamers who play this & other R* games might do something stupid and the parents, watchdog parent groups, and politicians are quick to blame R* when the shit hits the fan.
