Street Crimes issue/question - PS3

I've been looking around for an answer to this, even asking Rockstar on twitter. I completed the main story earlier today and started going back to collect things I missed and such for 100%. The first thing I wanted to get out of the way were street crimes. Luckily, Bondi added the option of free roaming in the city and the end of every desk (it appears all of the crimes are locked into specific desks). So without issue, I went from desk to desk, getting as many as I could done (I had to go into each multiple times, it looks like some can't be played before others), when at 38/40 complete, every desk tells me that I've completed all the crimes. How can this be? I've read some might be timed, but it's scary that I'm getting a pop-up message every time I go into free roam on every desk telling me there's no more. Anyone else know about this? Does it have something to do with inaccessible DLC? Social Club is showing that some people have the trophy for it under the "most illusive trophies" section. I'd let you know which two I'm supposedly missing, but social club hasn't refreshed for me since last night. Any insight would be appreciated.

EDIT - The answer was indeed in the time of day. When you jump into free roam on a certain desk, the time is randomized. That's why I had to keep going in and out of desks to find them all quickly. The more you know...

So you can go from desk to desk? Im on the homicide desk and i didnt complete all the street crimes from the previous two. Can I go back now or do i have to finish the whole story mode?

Well, the Patrol desk has no street crimes, so you only missed one desk of street crimes.

As the first poster said, each desk has its own "Streets of LA" mode, where you can free roam with your partner of that desk, completing the street crimes, finding the collectibles or whatever you wish to do.
