Popping Tires

I haven't heard anyone mention this and was wondering if anyone knows if you will be able to pop the tires of the cars you are chasing during the chase sequences. I know the feature was in GTA IV but was just wondering if it can be found in L.A. Noire as well.

Well, I think a lot of people would be disappointed could they not penetrate rubber with fast moving hot lead.

For sure it will make it easier to catch the people that you are in a car chase with. Just wondering if it would be include in L.A. Noire since I have not heard any say one way or the other.

This game has a heavy emphasis on realism, so popping tires with bullets would be a necessity. It'd be a necessity in every game.

I'm sure that if you get the opportunity to shoot in a situation where you can hit cars the tires will pop, but as we know, cole only pulls his gun when he feels it is necessary, so I don't see him leaning out his window during a car chase trying to shoot the fleeing vehicle.

Yeah I guess we will have to see if Cole decides to pull out his gun and shoot while he is driving on the highspeed chases.

We have a picture of Phelps' partner Earle leaning out of the window, aiming his firearm down at the tires of a suspects vehicle, so I believe we should be able to.

i thought your partner would shoot out of the window during car chases while your driving but i could be wrong..........damn got beaten posting this

I haven't seen much footage on car chases so I don't know either.

No. Just no. For once, no exploding cars. They're fine in modern settings, but there were no exploding cars in 40s movies. Have them fall apart, but not explode. Sucked in Mafia II. This is not Mafia II.

You can shoot tires. I asked Godchild and he said yeah.

In some GTA IV missions, when you replay, you can spot the vehicles you're going to be chasing and shoot the tires beforehand, forcing the enemy to drive on rims. It's sort of cheating by knowing the future. I guess Phelps can't do this trick if he can't shoot anytime he wants though.

The thing I hated about GTA IV's car chases was that they were scripted, shooting tires didn't change much, in my opinion... That is.

You are very right. I think the scripting of car chases took away from replay value in the long run.

You partner during some chases will tell you to get beside him so he can shoot out the tires doesn't work the guy still drive on the rim and drives pretty fast on the rims, once the tire is shoot you have to either turn the car over by running it into something or actually spinning it out like the cops do in the movies.
