Aresting the wrong suspect: Verified? - angelocody - 05-21-2011 02:06 AM

So now that the game has come out I want to bring back a topic that was hit on by Team Bondi in a interview. I still don't think i quite understand his response...it seems pretty vague.

When asked if you can send the wrong suspect to jail they reply with this:

Quote:There is an overarching plot that governs the story of the game, but how you get there is up to you. There are definitely situations in the game where you can arrest the wrong suspect. It's a player choice and adds an interesting challenge, especially if the evidence is compelling for both suspects.

Ok, now with that said. Read this again and see just how vague this is. The guy asks if you can arrest the wrong suspect, Team Bondi says yes, but they fail to mention if this could be the way a case ends.

So with that said, has anyone been able to replay a case and notice a difference on who you send to jail or not? Have you always captured the same suspect in the end with maybe just a few more (or less) suspects in the process either going to jail or not?

The case I played I think I sent EVERYONE to jail due to my failed interrogations. I know I failed one interrogation and once I left the screen told me to go and charge the other suspect with the murder. Was the other guy the murder? I don't know....it's just kind of confusing I guess.

If this can be verified as true, that you can END a case with the wrong guy in jail then I can see replay value. If not....I'm not quite sure I follow the logic then.

I'm just starting Vice, but beat Homicide and you'll see what they mean. I won't know until I beat the game whether there's more to it or not.

the thing is no one knows . Theres no light bulb at least for one case in specific where you have 2 suspects. I got all the questions on both right and still hold no diffrent knowledge than you , It kind of just stays a mystery
